This was pretty darn tasty, and I loved the crunchy waffle chunks. I present to you my waffle blizzard served in a waning apple butter jar… Oh, protein ice-cream, I’d forgotten how good you are! Instead of the stevia packet, I added a drizzle of maple syrup, and after it was done blending, I stirred in 1 crumbled toasted Van’s apple cinnamon waffle. ![]() □įirst up, I whipped up a batch of vanilla protein ice-cream. So this morning, I decided to make my own, and in honor of Waffle Wednesday, I knew just what my mix-in candy of choice would be. It tasted so good, but I haven’t had one since. I distinctly remember running the Country Music Half Marathon and then celebrating by getting my nose pierced and enjoying an Oreo Cheesecake Blizzard since the piercing studio was located directly above a DQ. The last blizzard I ate was back in April 2005. Confession: I have been craving Dairy Queen Blizzards. ![]()
